The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), formerly known as the (Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association (HBIGDA), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, interdisciplinary professional and educational organization devoted to transgender health. Our professional, supporting, and student members engage in clinical and academic research to develop evidence-based medicine and strive to promote a high quality of care for transsexual, transgender, and gender-nonconforming individuals internationally. We are funded primarily through the support of our membership, and through donations and grants sponsored by non-commercial sources. Mission: To promote evidence based care, education, research, public policy, and respect in transgender health. Vision: We envision a world wherein people of all gender identities and gender expressions have access to evidence-based healthcare, social services, justice and equality. Goals and Tasks As an international interdisciplinary, professional organization, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) will work to further the understanding and treatment of gender dysphoria by professionals in medicine, psychology, law, social work, counseling, psychotherapy, family studies, sociology, anthropology, sexology, speech and voice therapy, and other related fields. WPATH provides opportunities for professionals from various sub-specialties to communicate with each other in the context of research and treatment of gender dysphoria including sponsoring biennial scientific symposia. WPATH publishes the Standards of Care and Ethical Guidelines, which articulate a professional consensus about the psychiatric, psychological, medical, and surgical management of gender dysphoria and help professionals understand the parameters within which they may offer assistance to those with these conditions.

The Washington University (WashU) Transgender Center provides health care for transgender and non-binary adults over age 18. Hormone therapy and specialty services. Social work and legal assistance. Behavioral health support via referrals.

Planned Parenthood has three clinics in the region and offers birth control, contraception, STI testing, HIV testing, gender affirming care, HRT, and abortion services

T4T Caregiving is "a grassroots collective of trans caregivers and doulas for trans people having gender-affirming surgeries." They offer live-in caregiving anywhere in the continental US for a sliding scale between $400-$200 per day. Make sure to book services 3-6 months in advance. The Gender Health Program offers comprehensive support to children, teens, and young adults under age 21. Riley Children’s Health offers the following services - gender affirming hormone therapy - menstrual suppression - surgery consultation and coordination Payment Option: Riley Children’s has a list of commonly accepted insurance and also a link to financial assistance program.

Ezkenazi Health offers a variety of services including – - hormone replacement therapy - primary care - gender affirmming surgery - speech therapy - legal assistance, including name and gender marker changes (in partnership with Indiana Legal Services) - sexual health including prevention of HIV - & many other services. Payment Options: Accepts insurance and has finacial counselors to help with applications for insurance, medicaid, medicare, children’s health coveragee program and a variety of other medical payment programs.
