Saint Louis University’s (SLU) Reinert Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic offers gender-affirming voice training as a way for clients to work to align their voice and communication to better represent their gender and desired gender positioning. The gender-affirming voice training program - launched by the university’s Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) department in June 2021 - has seen patients ranging from ages 19 – 49 and has helped trans females, trans males and non-binary individuals find their voice. The clinic operates as a no-fee clinic, allowing us to serve a wide range of clientele who may otherwise not have the resources to afford assessment or treatment. The clinic operates thanks, in part, to donations from the public.

Refuge Restrooms is a web application that seeks to provide safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming individuals. Users can search for restrooms by proximity to a search location, add new restroom listings, as well as comment and rate existing listings. We’re trans led and seek to create a community focused not only on finding existing safe restroom access, but also advocating for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming people’s safety.

Marie Fleming sees adults and children for speech therapy and is passionate about providing gender-affirming services. She gets booked out by about 1 month and tends to have a 1-month wait period in between sessions.

Elevated Access was launched in 2022 in response to the extreme healthcare bans being enacted in state legislatures. We are a non-profit organization that enables people to access healthcare by providing flights on private planes at no cost. Our volunteer pilot network transports clients seeking abortion or gender-affirming care across the United States.

Microgrants provide trans and nonbinary people with low-barrier funds and support to: 1. __Correct names__ and/or gender markers on identifying legal documents, 2. Fund gender-affirming __permanent hair removal__ 3. Supply necessities for our __trans siblings behind bars__. The program can help you update your government identification documents, including: - Passport - Driver's License and State ID - Court Order Name Change - Immigration Documents - Tribal IDs At this time they are __NOT __able to offer financial assistance for: - Birth Certificates - Medical needs or procedures - Housing Their advocates will guide you through the process and paperwork, and then they’ll cut you a check for the entire cost.
