Gender Affirming Care: "Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri is a proud member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). Scheduling Note: When scheduling with Planned Parenthood, Andy (he/him) says, “I have been receiving care with Planned Parenthood and they require in-person appointments once a year to continue care. So I would recommend against telehealth appointments because I don’t want other folks to get charged over $200 for 1 month of hormones and still have to pay the same amount for an in person appointment the next month.”

Has history of being a hostile work environment for trans employees. I worked there a week and a half and when I got there I found out 3 trans people quit because of discrimination and failure of HR to address complaints by Trans Employees. AG order dropped during my time there, was handled very poorly. I was told I was catastrophizing the situation in front of our community Partner MTUG. This was by the main practitioner of GAHT for the organization. Reported this, no action was taken. Was retaliated against for taking time to secure my own GHAT during this time. Was immediately terminated when given two weeks. Data wise- number of patients of color served by this program was in the double digits. Practice wise, I was very concerned by the lack of individualized care. It was very one size fits all, and they were more concerned about quantity of patients rather than quality of care.
