Description
The Okra Project creates initiatives to provide mutual aid and other resources to the Black Trans community.
At The Okra Project, they believe that mutual aid is essential to supporting Black Trans people across the United States. Without social safety nets, mutual aid becomes critical for many in the Trans community, and they are proud to be a part of this vital work.
Their mutual aid collective is focused on supporting Black Trans people and alleviating the barriers that the Trans community faces. They envision a safe, abundant, and equitable life for Black Trans people across the United States, and their service pillars reflect this vision.
