Description
PFLAG Greater St. Louis promotes the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people, their parents, families, and friends through support, education, and advocacy.
PFLAG hosts volunteer-led, confidential monthly meetings in four MO locations including Mid-County, St. Charles, Arnold, and Ferguson (virtual). Attendees include parents, grandparents, allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. All are welcome. The meetings' purpose is to provide safe, confidential space for individuals to discuss topics related to sexual orientation and gender identity.
In partnership with other national and local organizations, PFLAG also advocates to secure equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community and to create a society that respects, values and celebrates human diversity. They also help educate the St. Louis community about sexual orientation and gender identity through speaking engagements and participation in local events.
