Karen Banks, MEd, LPC

Karen Banks (She/Her) is the Owner and Counselor at Trinity Wellness.

She states, "My goal with our sessions is to help you walk in your truth. I work hard to treat people as a whole person, not a diagnosis or someone limited by the problems they are experiencing. We collaborate on your treatment so that you discover who you are and find ways that work for you to walk in your truth. I am passionate about mental wellness and helping individuals and communities thrive. Your therapy is custom to you and might include conversations about coping skills, your support system, personal goals, or incorporating natural health into your life."

Karen primarily sees adults and couples/relationships for therapy using a holistic and cognitive behavioral approach. She has completed levels 1, 2, and 3 in Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as Treating Affairs & Trauma and Couples & Addiction Recovery. She is in training towards her Sex Therapy Certification through Sexual Health Alliance, with a Kink-Informed Certification.
