Personal Experience with a Resource, Suggestion to Highlight/Recommend a Resource

Their personnel seem responsive and down-to-earth. The org seems big on checking in to make sure someone doesn’t get too overwhelmed. They plan on going to appointments with people. They focus on young adults but can serve kids too. An organization would have to put through a referral, a community member can’t just sign up on their own. After the referral, their service / team would take over, deciding what the best fit services for each individual would be. They have been the most queer-affirming that I have encountered re: case management services for adults or children. They assume they’ll encounter queer people, instead of being surprised when they do. In dealing with me as a queer parent, I’m not misgendered, they are queer-affirming to our whole family. My child is polyamorous, but they don’t blink about it. They have been more affirming of her as a polyamorous queer/trans girl than even her therapist. They are the one group we have never had to explain anything to about me or my child being Queer/Trans.
