Description

Dr. Maurice Redden is a psychiatrist in St. Louis, MO, specializing in psychiatric care for geriatric patients suffering from delirium, depression, dementia and other degenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's dementia. He also assists patients with the psychiatric aspects of HIV/AIDS. He provides outpatient evaluation and treatment, inpatient care and psychiatric consults.

Dr. Redden's research interests include potential treatment options for dementia, the effect of dementia on minority populations, and strategies for treating HIV dementia.

Dr. Redden is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Geriatric Psychiatry, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry and Black Psychiatrists of America.
