Wildflower Alliance

Description
The Wildflower Alliance supports healing and empowerment for their broader communities and people who have been impacted by psychiatric diagnosis, trauma, extreme states, homelessness, problems with substances and other life-interrupting challenges.
Methods of support:
- Peer-to-peer support & genuine human relationships
- Alternative Healing Practices
- Learning Opportunities
- Advocacy
The Wildflower Alliance strives to recognize and undo systemic injustices such as racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, transmisogyny, and psychiatric oppression.
Although physically located in Massachusetts, the peer support line (sometimes referred to as a ‘warmline’) is a private phone line that you can call from anywhere in the U.S. The support line is answered by a trained peer supporter who has their own first-hand experience with psychiatric diagnosis, trauma, addiction, and/or other interrupting challenges. This line does not collect personal information, perform assessment, or call crisis or the police. Callers can get support, ask about resources, connect with another person who can relate or has ‘been there’, or just talk.
