Osamuede Osemwota
Description
Dr. Osemwota is a board-certified dermatologist who grew up in Alabama and trained at Washington University in St. Louis. As a former Fulbright Scholar, she conducted research on novel treatments for HIV/AIDS and obtained a Master's Degree in Oncology from the Université Paris-Sud XI École Doctorale De Cancérologie. She has completed research at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, studying the role of a specific enzyme important in skin development. She has completed preceptorships with internationally renowned Dermatologists through competitive grants at Columbia University, the Center for Dermatology in Washington D.C. and at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has given talks at the American Academy for Dermatology as well as Dermatology Grand Rounds at Washington University in St. Louis, University of North Carolina and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her spare time, Dr. Osemwota enjoys biking with her rambunctious boys and doing acroyoga with her husband.
