Joseph M. Duvall, MD

Dr. Duvall graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1974. Remaining at the University of Missouri-Columbia, he completed his residency in dermatology from 1975-1978. He has been the chairman of Dermatology at Mercy Hospital since 1983. After completing his training, Dr. Duvall stayed in his home state of Missouri to begin his practice; board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Duvall has has worked on more claims relating to Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema), Itchy Skin, Eczema and Contact Dermatitis and Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Skin than other providers in the area. He is also a clinical professor of Dermatology at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He has taught students and residents for 35 years. He has been listed as one of the "Best Doctors" in America for 15 consecutive years. Dr. Duvall treats all ages and has a special interest in severe acne and skin cancer.

Dr. Duvall uses his decades of experience to give patients of all ages the best care possible. He finds diagnosing and treating skin cancer, helping people with severe acne, and giving patients second opinions about difficult cases especially rewarding.

When he isn’t in the office, Dr. Duvall enjoys spending time with his three children and five grandchildren. The newest addition to the family is his new puppy, Sheridan; whom he looks forward to taking along on fly fishing trips to Montana.
