Overnight Warming Locations - Alton and Edwardsville

In Operation

Description

The Overnight Warming Locations (OWL) in Alton and Edwardsville provide sanctuary for community members on cold nights. Their mission for unhoused guests is: Get inside. Get connected. Get well. Volunteers with OWL connect with local organizations to provide warm temporary shelters, hot food, and supplies to unhoused folks.

Note: Due to limited volunteer capacity, OWL only opens their warming locations when temperatures are 20 degrees F or lower.
