Description
Ida Duplantier (she/her) is a Pre-Licensed Professional Counselor who promotes mental health through empowerment, collaboration, and exploring your unique concerns through a biopsychosocial model. This approach recognizes that mental health is shaped by the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors.
She is especially passionate about supporting those who feel like societal outcasts or like they just don’t quite “fit.” Her aim is to create a nonjudgmental space for individuals to shed the labels others have placed on them so that they can explore their true values. Ida works with adult individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her clinical work and training has focused on addiction, eating disorders, childhood emotional neglect, LGBTQIA+ concerns, cultic abuse, religious trauma, and animal-assisted therapy.
Offers Walk and Talk Therapy, Creature Comforts Pet Grief Support Group for anyone struggling with the loss of a beloved pet, and Meal Support: Virtual support for those struggling with or in recovery from an eating disorder.
Note: She is currently providing counseling services under the supervision of Victoria Aitken, LPC, NCC.
